To be honest, I do not drink smoothies very often, but sometimes I need something to take with me on the way out the door. On those days I reach for my favorite smoothie on the FASTer Way to Fat Loss lifestyle. My friend and fellow blogger, Meredith showed me this recipe and then I tweaked it to be my own.
I love learning new recipes and then adapting them to the things I like. That is one of the great things about the community of FASTer Way to Fat Loss. We share different ideas of what we like to eat and different recipes that fall in our macros.
With the FASTer Way to Fat Loss lifestyle, we practice intermittent fasting, carb cycling, and we track our macros. Most of my clients will tell you that the most difficult part can be tracking the macros and making them fit your goals. I always tell them it is like a puzzle or a game.
On a regular macro day, it can be difficult to get enough good complex carbs. My favorite smoothie on the FASTer Way to Fat Loss lifestyle has 25 grams of carbohydrates. If I am looking for more I could always add more fruit like blueberries. That increases it to 36 grams of carbohydrates.
My Favorite Smoothie On The FASTer Way To Fat Loss Lifestyle
- 2 tbsp Cacao Magic from Philosophie
- 2 tbsp Vital Proteins Collagen Powder
- 2 drops of Stevia Sweetener
- 1 tbsp bee pollen
- 3 cups Almond Coconut Milk
- 1 cup of frozen bananas
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 tbsp PB2 Peanut Butter Powder
- 1/2 cup of ice
- Water to loosen for desired consistency
