So what are you waiting for? Are you ready to live your best life now? Several years ago I read a book “Younger Next Year: A Guide to Living Like 50 Until You Are 80 And Beyond”. This book has really stuck with me. I really do believe there are things we can do right now, whatever age we are to feel and look our best.
There are so many things we can do to help us live our best life. You don’t have to do them all at once. I would recommend taking it one day at a time. Think of it as a marathon, not a sprint.
Focus on one area of your life that you want to improve. It could be nutrition, exercise, mental health, sleep, relationships or anything that you think would help you live your best life now. If you don’t start you will not ever get to where you want to go.
Are you one of those people that say “when this happens then I am going to do this”. Or “I can’t wait until this happens in my life.” I use to be that person that couldn’t wait until the next thing in my life. When I was in high school, I couldn’t wait until I went to college. When I was in college I couldn’t wait to graduate to get a job. Then it was get married, have children, and on an on. I could never enjoy the process.
With summer coming up we start thinking about getting in shape. It seems to become more a priority, probably for the wrong reason. So we will look better. But try to think of it as feeling your best which then will help you to live your best life now.
