May's Most-Loved: The 6 Things We Couldn't Stop Buying
May had a vibe. Denim, sandals, a trucker jacket that practically sold itself — you all have great taste and these pieces proved it. Here are the six things we collectively couldn't stop reaching for, plus a peek at what's on my radar heading into June.
1. MOTHER Lil Petite Twist Sneak Jeans
These are the jeans. The twist seam gives you the longest, leanest line without any effort — just put them on and go. And exciting news — they just dropped in white, which I am currently waiting on in the petite. I already have every other color they come in, which says it all.
2. Dolce Vita Amary Stud Sandals in Light Suede
The sandal of the summer — you all confirmed it. The stud detail makes them feel a little elevated, but they're comfortable enough to wear all day, which is the dream. I've styled mine with linen shorts, casual dresses, jeans — they work with everything. Once you have these, you'll reach for them constantly.
3. Summersalt The Sidestroke One Piece Swimsuit
We are heading into summer, and there is still time to get this one. The Sidestroke is a one-piece that actually makes you feel amazing — the ruching is placed perfectly, the coverage is real, and Summersalt sizing is so reliable. My daughter-in-law even ordered one and says it's been so good for her postpartum body — that kind of real-life feedback means everything. This is the swimsuit I recommend to everyone who asks.
4. Dolce Vita Julio Jelly Sandal
A jelly sandal sounds like it shouldn't work, and yet — it's the sleekest, most versatile thing in my shoe rotation right now. Modern, easy, goes with everything. Dolce Vita had two pairs in the top six this month, and I'm not even a little surprised. The brand just gets summer sandals.
5. Rag & Bone Miramar Trucker Jacket
This one has a story. I posted an OOTD wearing it, and within two days, so many of you ordered it — and I completely understand why. It's that effortless layering piece that works over everything and looks expensive without being over the top. A forever piece I wear constantly and will keep wearing forever.
6. Alice + Olivia Hera Linen Short
Elevated summer dressing at its finest. The fit is relaxed but structured, the linen quality is that kind you can feel immediately, and it just looks so good. If you're investing in a few great summer pieces, I'd point you here without hesitation.
On My Radar Right Now
A few things I'm currently loving, just ordered, or can't stop thinking about heading into summer:
Spanx Super Smooth Authentic 360 Lightweight Super Wide Leg Jeans in Seaside Blue— I am so excited about these. Super lightweight for summer, wide leg, and that Spanx hold-you-in magic. Seaside Blue feels perfect for the season.
Spanx AirEssentials French Rib Maxi Tank Dress in Very Black— A maxi tank dress in Spanx's AirEssentials fabric? Yes please. This is going to be my throw-it-on-and-go summer dress. The Very Black is so versatile and the fabric is unbelievably soft.
Eric Javits Squishee VIP Hat — Just ordered this and I couldn't be more excited. This hat is coming with me on every single summer trip — it's packable, it's chic, it's everything. Use code DEANNA10 for a discount!
Spanx BoostUp Cinched Run Short with StayCool Tech in Maritime— Palmetto Bluff walks, pickleball, everything in between — these are the shorts I'm counting on this summer. The StayCool tech is going to be a game-changer in the heat, and Maritime is such a great color.
Prada Re-Edition Mini Crochet Bag— Okay, yes, I splurged. But this bag is going to be with me for years and that's how I justify an investment piece. The mini crochet detail is so unique and it's the kind of thing that just elevates any outfit instantly.
