What I'm Talking About This Season: Midlife Reinvention, Skincare, Sleep & Saying No to Overthinking

I'm back — and I almost wasn't.

I took the summer off, and I'll be honest with you: I wasn't sure I was coming back to this podcast at all. I've stopped before and started again. But here's what kept pulling me back — I love talking more than writing, and I love connecting with you here in a way that Instagram doesn't quite allow. There's more room here. So we're starting a whole new season, and I'm so glad you're here for it.

In this short kickoff episode, I'm sharing everything I want to dig into over the coming weeks.

What's coming this season:

  • Reinvention in midlife — because I think we reinvent ourselves several times, and nobody really warns us about that

  • My new dermatologist and a skincare overhaul — it's been genuinely life-changing, and I'm bringing her on the show

  • Conversations with other content creators about what they're doing and how they're doing it

  • Building a capsule wardrobe — the closet full of clothes with nothing to wear problem, and how I'm fixing mine before fall

  • How I stay motivated at 61 — and why it all comes back to knowing your why

  • Alcohol in perimenopause and menopause — why I've mostly stepped away, and what changed for me

  • Sleep as a non-negotiable — the routine that works for me, and why I always asked my coaching clients about sleep before anything else

  • Pushing too hard — and being far too hard on ourselves

  • Overthinking — something my seven-year-old granddaughter taught me more about than I expected

I'm keeping episodes short this season, same as last, with a new one every week. We'll go through the fall and see where we land — maybe a break around Thanksgiving.

A few things I mentioned:

I'd love to hear from you. If there's a topic you want me to cover, or a question you've been sitting on, send me a DM on Instagram @wellandworthylife or email me at deanna@wellandworthylife.com. I mean it — this community is the reason I came back.

Thanks for being here, friend. Don't forget to subscribe, share this episode, and keep choosing what makes you feel well and worthy. 🤍
