September Best Sellers: The 10 Things You Bought Most

At the end of every month I get to see what you actually bought, not just what you looked at. It’s my favorite report to pull up.

And it’s never quite what I think it’s going to be.

Here’s the thing about September. I spent most of it packing for Italy, and you can tell. Four of the top ten came straight out of that suitcase.

So here’s the list, in your order, not mine.

The SeaVees Acorn Trainer

Number one, and it wasn’t close.

These are the sneakers I wore on the plane to Italy, and I loved them. They’re so comfortable and so stylish, and they’re lightweight on top of that. I didn’t even have to break them in, which almost never happens to me with a new shoe.

You can shop them here.

The rag & bone Miramar trucker jacket

You’ve seen this one in just about every packing list I’ve made since the spring. It’s the layer I grab when I don’t know what the weather’s going to do, which is most of fall.

September is just the month it finally clicked for everybody else.

Here’s the jacket.

The Forme power bra

If you read my workout clothes post, you already know how I feel about this one.

I was carrying so much tightness in my shoulders and my neck, and I believe it was because I was hunching my shoulders up through my whole workout without even knowing I was doing it. This bra holds my shoulders back and down for me.

Turns out I wasn’t the only one dealing with that. You can find the power bra here.

The rag & bone Miramar Shea ankle pant

Same family as the jacket, and just as soft.

A petite tip, since I’m 5’2”: I had mine hemmed so they’d hit at a true ankle on me. And of course they made the trip to Italy too. A great look, and comfortable.

Shop the pant here.

The Spanx Undie-tectable thong

Not glamorous. Completely necessary.

They hold me in all the right places and help smooth everything out under tighter fitting pants and dresses. Here they are.

PROMIX protein puff bars

The only food that made the list.

This is my sweet treat after dinner, for the nights when I’ve eaten plenty and I still want something sweet. Vanilla is the flavor I buy. I threw a couple in my bag for the plane, too.

Shop the puff bars.

The Ruti On the Loose work pants

These have been on my best seller list in one form or another for over a year now, which tells you something.

I wear the petite since I’m 5’2”, and they came to Italy with me. Here’s the regular length.

They’re also making them in a new scuba fabric for fall and winter, and that one is on my wishlist.

The M.Gemi Una flats

Another one out of the Italy suitcase. You know from my packing post that Milan is a walking city and I refuse to limp through it.

A flat I can walk in all day and still feel put together is not an easy thing to find. These have been in my closet long enough that I can say that honestly. Shop The Una.

The FRAME Rodeo jeans

You know from my fall capsule post that a dark rinse was the one real gap I had. These are what filled it, and a lot of you went and got them too.

A dark wash dresses up, goes to dinner, and works under a blazer. Here are the jeans.

ciele tint & PROTECT SPF 50+

This one is my own addition, because it’s what I’m reaching for right now.

I love the coverage, and of course the protection. It feels so good going on, and it’s a clean beauty product. Shop the tint & PROTECT.

The ones you kept looking at

This part is almost more interesting to me than the top ten. These three got a pile of clicks in September and hardly any orders, which usually means you’re thinking about it.

The Frank & Eileen Mini Cotswolds cardigan in camel got more clicks than anything else on this page. It’s a real investment piece, so I understand the pause.

The Vuori Halo wideleg pant was right behind it. I’ll be honest, I changed my mind and didn’t end up wearing these on the plane. But I’ve worn them several times since, lounging in the room or traveling to the next spot.

And the long embroidered scarf by Vismaya from Banana Republic. I’m just going to say it: I don’t own this one. I have a scarf I’ve had for years that comes with me to every destination, and this is what I’d buy to replace it if I ever had to.

If any of those are sitting in your cart, ask me about fit or sizing. I’m happy to help.

One last thing

A list like this is only worth reading if it’s honest, so here’s the honest part. These aren’t the things I was paid the most to talk about. They’re the things you chose, in the order you chose them, and I own every one of the ten.

See you with the October list.

So tell me, which one of these did you buy?
